In addition to being a commercial announcer, Lawrence Shum is a publicist, graduated from FAAP, Master and Doctor in Communication and Semiotics from PUC – SP and professor in the Digital Games courses at PUC – SP and Advertising and Propaganda and Radio, TV and Internet at Fapcom, Paulus College of Technology and Communication.
Between 1983 and 1996, he worked as an announcer and producer in some of the main radio and TV stations in São Paulo: Antena 1, 97 FM, Excelsior AM (currently CBN), Gazeta FM, Nova FM Record, Band FM, TV Bandeirantes and Eldorado FM. Between 2003 and 2014, he was an announcer on HBO Plus and HBO Max.
Currently, he also acts as master of ceremonies at corporate events and video presenter.
