Born in São Paulo, he worked as a sound engineer, then as a dubbing technician and finally as an advertising technician. Between one off-guide and another, the opportunity arose to make a definitive voice-over. He took a radio course (Radioficina) and began to act as an announcer in production companies outside the capital of São Paulo.
Little by little, it became known and today, after 25 years, it is established in the advertising market. In addition, Meirelles also presents corporate events such as master of ceremonies and interactive game shows for companies.
Since 2014 it is the default voice of the TNT channel.
